About Us

The Arizona Mad Moms, Arizona State Capitol, Mental Illness Monday 2024, Senator Catherine Miranda

Together we howl louder!

The Arizona Mad Moms is a grassroots movement;

of mothers, caregivers, and family members (i.e. dads)

of loved ones with degenerative brain illness causing psychosis.

We Do Know This

  • Feeling completely unprepared & startled.
  • Struggling to (know-how-to) help a loved one in a mental health crisis.
  • Frustrated for not being heard.
  • Overwhelmed daily and sleepless nights.
  • Maternal instinct driven to be a voice for your adult-child.

"Yes, we have been in your shoes and we still are."

All are welcome!

Through advocacy, legislation, and

personal support, Arizona Mad Moms will be a voice to remove barriers to competent psychiatric treatment and services for our loved ones

with Serious Mental Illness (SMI), their families,

and the community.

 Together we ADVOCATE.

Our Journey in Photos

S&PAA, "We believe in a
cure for schizophrenia".

The quest for a cure may take decades, but it is the pinnacle of our research and clinical aspirations.

"We recommend S&PAA." - Arizona Mad Moms
